Positive Psychology for Coaches

Join Barefoot tutor and Positive Psychology (aka the science of happiness) specialist Annie Lee for a fun, highly interactive & experiential online workshop programme where you will get to learn proven techniques for improving wellbeing for both yourself and your coachees.

Outline content:

This course will focus on the following areas of content:

  • History of Positive Psychology – Setting the context of how positive psychology came into being and how this relates to recognising when Positive Psychology interventions could be useful.
  • PERMA – An overview of one of the main theories underpinning Positive Psychology followed by a deeper dive into the different elements from both a theoretical standpoint but also including specific interventions that are useful when exploring each element.
  • Strengths – we will explore different methods of identifying strengths and how to utilise them within the coaching relationship to help overcome challenges, achieve goals and find purpose.

By the end of the course, you will:

  • Feel confident to use a range of tools, techniques and interventions to help coachees develop a positive mindset
  • Support coachees to improve resilience, confidence and ultimately wellbeing
  • Apply proven wellbeing strategies and tools in their own lives
  • Develop self-awareness and self-confidence

Annie is an ICF accredited coach (PCC), coach supervisor and is passionate about all things Positive Psychology! She has trained with Miriam Akhtar & Bridget Grenville-Cleave as well as undertaking the School of Positive Transformation’s Positive Psychology Practitioner Certificate run by leading authors & researchers in the topic.

Annie works with individuals who benefit from the powerful combination of her naturally positive energy & approach as well as her deep theoretical & practical knowledge. She also works with organisations that recognise the importance of staff wellbeing.
